Aesthetic medical treatments can treat a wide array of cosmetic concerns and are safe and effective for
almost all skin types. As technology has improved, the demand for these procedures has skyrocketed. Now you
can treat unsightly skin conditions and wrinkles on your lunch hour and go right back to work with no down
time. Patients are able to look great without spending huge sums of money, having to take time off work or endure
the risks of surgery.
Non-invasive cosmetic treatments are safe for nearly all individuals and ages. There
are a few exceptions, so be sure to inform your provider about all your medical conditions, medications and current or past
treatments.
FAQ's
Are cosmetic procedures covered by insurance?
In
general, no. Sierra Cosmetic Laser is not a provider of any private insurance, medicare or medicaid and we do not bill
insurance companies. If you have a Health Care Savings Account (HSA), you may be able to pay for certain services and
products with money from your HSA account. Please feel free to ask more questions regarding the use of HSA dollars at
the time of your consultation.
How much do treatments typically cost?
Treatments range from $90 to
$500 per treatment depending upon the type of treatment and size of the area.

at Sierra Cosmetic Laser?
All the procedures and devices used at our facility are FDA approved for the applications
that we offer. There have been thousands of patients treated successfully and safely before being offered to the general
public.
What are the risks of laser treatment?
There are a few uncommon but avoidable complications
of laser treatment. Eye damage from laser energy can be eliminated by the use of protective goggles for the patient
and operators. Infection of the skin after treatment is a possible complication that can be treated by early detection
and treatment. Scarring has been known to occur but is rare and can be successfully treated in most cases.
Please ask your provider about the potential benefits and risks before starting treatment.
How do I prepare
for treatment?
Be sure to ask your provider what you should do or avoid in the days or weeks prior to treatment.
In some cases we may ask that you refrain from using certain medications or treatments beforehand. This varies
based on the type of procedure planned.
Sounds great! How do I get started?
Unless you have had
treatments previously and know how you wish to proceed, the treatment begins with a consultation with a medical provider.
Your provider will review your medical history and medications with you. Then we will discuss your specific treatment
needs and expectations to make a specialized treatment plan and estimate of cost. The plan will include the type of
treatment needed, number of treatments, expected downtime (if any), pre and post treatment considerations and expected outcome.
There is a charge for the consultation but it may be applied to your treatment series if you make an appointment at the consult
visit.
